| Built in humidity meter. You choose the target humidity level and the machine takes care of the rest. As too much humidity causes problems with mold and dust mites, this is a vital feature. |

| Ease of use. Large water tanks, easy cleaning and a lack of other regular maintenance duties will save you a lot of time in the long run. |

| Lack of noise. Most modern humidifiers by the top brands are very quiet these days. If you are the sort of person who is bothered by background noise, this should still be a top priority though.
