Meyer & Depew Celebrates Decades of Lifesaving Organ Donation at NJ Sharing Network’s 5K
On June 8, 2025, the NJ Sharing Network hosted its 15th Annual 5K Celebration of Life in New Providence, NJ. In the 15 years the NJ Sharing Network has been holding this event, they have raised over $13MM, and helped shine a light on the urgent need and transformative impact of organ and tissue donation. Each year, teams of runners and walkers participate in the 5K, each carrying their own story across the finish line.
For the 3rd year in a row, Meyer & Depew is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the 5K Celebration of Life. The connection to the cause of organ donation runs deep in the Meyer & Depew family. Bobby Ring, President of Meyer & Depew, is a living organ donor. He gave his sister, Kathleen, a kidney in 1984, extending her life. His name is etched on the NJ Sharing Network’s wall of remembrance, alongside other donors.
In addition to being a sponsor of the 5K, Meyer & Depew supports the NJ Sharing Network as part of their business. Their Installation Donation program gives a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every new HVAC system to the Sharing Network Foundation. In 2024, the company donated a total of $75,000. The donation program allows clients to help save the lives of people in need of organ and tissue transplants, support organ donor awareness, and increase the number of registered organ and tissue donors.
At the June 8th 5K, Meyer & Depew also provided cooling towels to runners as they completed the race, enjoying the spirit of the day.

In our work, our policy is to ‘always do the right thing,’ and we carry that through into everything we do.”
