Generations AheadSM Generator Service Plan

Annual precision generator tune-up
Change engine oil
Replace the engine oil filter
Replace engine air filter
Check air inlets & outlets; change as needed
Check battery posts, cables, and charger for loose connections, corrosion, and damage; correct as needed
Replace the battery (second year agreement)
Check engine sparkplugs; re-gap and replace as needed
Test the engine and transfer switch safety devices; correct & adjusted as needed
Inspect brushes for wear
Visually inspect the unit for leaks, wear or damage, loose connection or abnormal operating conditions; correct as needed
Start and exercise the unit for leaks, loose connections, or components and abnormal operating conditions; correct as needed
Initiate an automatic start and transfer the load if desired by the client
Return the unit to stand-by setup for operation when required

 

Plans are two-year agreements that include one (1) visit each year of the agreement. The services and inspections listed will be performed at each visit.

The following parts are included in the cost of this agreement and will be provided as necessary during the planned service at no additional cost: Once per 12-month agreement period: Engine oil, engine oil filter, engine air filter, spark plug; Once per 24-month agreement period: battery.

All other parts and labor to install them are provided at a 15% discount off of our regular prevailing rates.

NJ Generator Service Contracts - Trust Meyer & Depew

The following parts are included in the cost of this agreement and will be provided as necessary during the planned service at no additional cost: Once per 12-month agreement period: Engine oil, engine oil filter, engine air filter, spark plug; Once per 24 month agreement period: battery. All other parts and labor to install them are provided at a 15% discount off of our regular prevailing rates. COST: $899.00 plus 6.625% NJ Sales Tax for a total of $958.56 24 monthly payments of $39.94. The term of this agreement shall be two years effective upon receipt of client’s payment for the agreement. This agreement shall automatically renew for subsequent two-year periods by payment of the renewal invoice sent to the client. In addition to the above rates quoted for planned service and the parts and service materials included above, the client shall be charged for any parts and/or materials that may be necessary to maintain the generator system in a state of efficient operation and the labor to diagnose and install them. All necessary replacement parts will be new. Parts still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty will be replaced in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. Preferential scheduling will be granted to agreement clients ahead of non-agreement clients. Response time is generally within 48 hours for non-emergency calls. Meyer & Depew Co. does not guarantee a specific response time. Meyer & Depew Co. is not responsible for delays due to unavailability of parts, strike, war, acts of God, or other conditions beyond its control.
